Temporary Congress

Hi all,

I propose to create a temporary congress in order to discuss and decide the policy to be followed in political, economic and military fields.

We should do it here maybe.

What do you think about that?

Hum. Sounds kind of pointless to do an entire congress. Maybe just the most knowledgeable people for each field should head that department or ministry until we have an official president/congress to appoint them.

i'm already in the greek congress,i think that it would be best to have a small government for now,i mean we should have 1 or 2 people for the ministry of new players,for tha cypriot bank and for the ministry of defence,then we should build a congress

Until the president post is elected to, I suggest we undertake the 'Crashed on a Desert Island' approach.
In short, everyone who's got experience in given areas, can muck in to help get things up and running - that way, whoever does get elected can see who's put in the hard work, and allocate positions accordingly

In short, it gets people working on key areas without waiting for the bureaucracy!

I agree with Steve. We don`t need a congress, which can`t do nothing special than to discuss in these forums and IRC - and our community can do the same.

I think that having the forum and being so few direct democracy work better now.

Totaly agree with Aisac and Erius. I think that as we are so few, almos everybody who wants to participate can do it by this forum, until the elections.

i agree with you guys - from yesterday i started forming the army in the chat,if any1 wants to enlist send a message
also i have posted an economic plan after we will have a president

we should start now to think about which candidates are we going to have for the congress elections, to ensure as many congresist as we can and not to figth between each other fot the votes.

We can always have a pre-elections on forums where we would chose the official candidates and then make sure in the real elections that those who have been chosen on forums get elected. This way we can chose our congressmembers democratically and still effectively.

In other kind of things; it'd be ok to have a list or some kind of control about the ciizens that really want to make cyprus their home; because yesterday we were 15, this morning 30, and now we're 70, so we have to know which citizens should we trust and consider on important topics, as the congres

Twenty congressmen, but we need to get ten to block the PTO. If we get ten, they cannot take the treasury, as a majority vote is required. However, that also means we must win the Presidency. The more congressmen we get, the better.

Presidency is important too. Remember, admin will give the first President an org with CYP and Gold.

Finding 10 strong Cypriots won't be easy, if we're not confident of 20 we should aim for around 13. They don't need to be Cypriot (although maybe preferred), as long as they are active and here for eCyprus and not PHX, EDEN, Turkey or Serbia or any other nation.

I don't use IRC - because I play from my job. And I enter the game rather often, but for a short time. If we speak about my IP, as the appruval of my loyality to eCyprus not to any other ecountry - I will vote for Steve_god, because he is the Party president now, and it seems to me, that he will not be a traitor. Maybe I'm wrong.
About IP - if you tell me how to enter IRC (the parametres) - I'll try to be there in this weekend.

This, he might be quiet but the few posts Ive seen here he seems like the best candidate.

The most interesting now - who will be ruler of eCyprus: Greece (Isw-something like that) or Turkey (Steoks). Of course Greece is much more better, but it's still Greece..
